Just over a day until the winter solstice occurs in the Northern Hemisphere at 7:42 am EST on Tuesday. And just in time for my flight home, it's getting chilly up north.

The Riverside/Avondale neighboorhood here in Jacksonville lit up the night with thousands of luminarias tonight. There were horse-drawn carriages, Bed & Breakfast tours, all sorts of festive things.

Amongst other more pressing things today, I updated about six pictures on page. There's some new people to ooo and ahh at.
